Trends may seem intimidating at first with the constantly changing rules and regulations but it’s much simpler than you think. We’re here to step in and help you understand what’s a part of this season’s manual so you can dress to impress (especially that wife of yours!). So sit back, relax and let the summer trends breakdown begin!
First Step: Apparel
We are seeing an increase in pastel colors for men. It’s a great way to brighten up your closet for the season while truly embracing the concept “real men wear pink”. Following this trend of a more feminine feel, tropical florals cruise back into mainstream fashion. Tonal dressing is also very popular. This means wearing one color consistently throughout an entire outfit but in varying shades. Seems a little odd but trust us, when done right, it looks very classy. As for the seasons go-to outerwear piece, technical jackets are it. With their breathable and insulating properties, it’s the perfect jacket for any weather circumstance without any added bulk. Denim has switched over from a dark wash to a much lighter wash with a looser leg; also known as the “Rad Dad” look.
Next Step: Shoes
You have your basic black, brown, and grey neutrals. This olive green color can be worn as a neutral and looks great with khaki shorts or classic denim.
