European Shoe Size Conversion to American Shoe Sizing
Before shopping for European brand shoes, it’s important to note that UK and EU companies’ sizing differs from American sizing. For women’s UK brand shoes, a good general rule of thumb is to subtract 2 from your US shoe size; for men, subtract 1. For EU shoes, women should add 31 to their US shoe size and men should add 34. Note that EU shoes do not do half sizes, so a women’s US 6 and 6.5 would both be an EU size 37.
