We are days away from 2022, and It feels like each month just keeps flying by faster! A new year means winter in Wisconsin is also here. What if instead of dreading winter every year we decided to LOVE it? There is something special about a fresh blanket of snow, quiet streets, cozy books, a fireplace and your favorite movie playing in the background. It gives you time to reflect and really relax (which we all could use a little more of!) Whether it’s finding some outdoor winter hikes, joining a new gym or yoga, or spending more time on some self care, we want to help YOU beat the winter blues:

Tip #1: Get your feet measured

Start the year fresh with a new pair of shoes that actually fit properly! Investing in yourself is the best thing for your overall health and happiness. Our feet are always changing, so it’s important to have our feet measured for the proper winter gear. Tip #2: Get Outside

Nature therapy is a real thing. The infamous cabin fever gets us all around wintertime and it doesn’t need to be that way! Bundling up in your favorite winter gear and getting outdoors for activities will help kick that cabin fever to the curb. P.S. An outdoor winter fire is a fan favorite. Tip #3: Stay Active

If getting outside is not your thing, do not fret! There are many ways to stay active indoors too. Join a gym or yoga studio, or if you are more comfortable staying home, purchase an online set of classes! Moving your body is important while we spend more time indoors. Tip #4: Relax and enjoy this slower time

Summer always seems to be so busy, so our favorite thing about winter is that life just slows down a bit. Have you been wanting to read that favorite book? Or finally pick up that new hobby that requires a lot of time and attention? Winter is the time to do it!  We always enjoy post Christmas closet cleaning and starting the new year with a fresh start. Tip #5: Indulge in some self care
