Share-A-Pair is Back!
Once again, February is Share-A-Pair month and we need your help to share the love within the Milwaukee community and around the world. Our goal this year is to collect 25,000 pairs of shoes and as many pairs of socks as possible!
Our Share-A-Pair shoe drive is a Stan’s family tradition where we collect new or gently-used shoes and new socks to distribute to local shelters in the Milwaukee area. To date, we have donated more than 235,000 pairs (and counting!) of shoes. We give as much as we can to these local shelters and what we have leftover is distributed to Soles4Souls, a non-profit organization that puts shoes on the feet of individuals from all over the world.

Why is Share-A-Pair so important to the Milwaukee community?
According to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, nearly a third of the Milwaukee population lives in poverty with 1500 individuals sleeping on the streets every night (Source: Milwaukee Rescue Mission). A pair of shoes can make a positive impact in helping these individuals get back on their feet.
From children to veterans, poverty and homelessness affects individuals from all walks of life. If you imagine going about your daily life without wearing shoes, you’ll realize how much you depend on your shoes to get around. Your child’s winter boots they’ve outgrown could help another child stay warm while walking to school. Your sneakers could help a single mom walk to the grocery store so she can feed her family. Your husband’s old dress shoes could help a veteran look presentable for his next job interview. The shoes that you and your family no longer need could help another family in our community!

When you donate to Share-A-Pair, you’ll receive a $10 gift card toward your next purchase at Stan’s or New Balance Milwaukee throughout the month of February.
