As the holiday season approaches, it’s easy to get lost in the sea of people vying to score the latest Black Friday deals and forget about what truly matters. This year, we are thrilled to hear that a number of Milwaukee-area shopping malls & retailers are choosing to remain closed during Thanksgiving. This means more people in our community will be able to fully enjoy what Thanksgiving is all about! Over the years, we have remained closed on Thanksgiving and opened with our regular store hours (9:30am – 5:30pm) on Black Friday. We are staying true to our roots by doing the same this year.
As Milwaukee’s local and family shoe store, it’s a priority to celebrate the holiday with family, friends, and community. We look forward to kicking off the holiday season with our family, friends, and community each year! It’s not everyday that we are able to have everyone we love gather in one place and give thanks, which is what makes this holiday so special to us. We encourage our customers and Milwaukee community to take the time to do the same.
At this time of the year we give thanks to those in our community who have supported us for 66 years. This allows us to be a vibrant & successful retail store in the footwear industry and contribute to the Milwaukee community. We continue to challenge all consumers this holiday season to think about where their dollars are going while they shop. According to Local First Milwaukee, “for every $1 spent at a locally owned business, more than $0.68 remains in Milwaukee, compared to the $0.43 that stays here from national chains.” This is money that will ultimately benefit your friends, neighbors, family, and you! Let’s think about how we can come together as a community to help one another.
Milwaukee’s rich culture and character has been maintained through local businesses and we are honored to be a part of the city’s history. We hope you’ll stop by our three Stan’s Fit For Your Feet stores and two New Balance Milwaukee stores this holiday season to see how special & unique our family business is. On Black Friday, we will open our doors at 9:30 am so that customers are able to shop and enjoy our signature sit-and-fit service. Customers will receive 10-50% off everything in our store, so bring your friends & family to see what we’re all about!
