November is our anniversary month, and this year we are proud to be celebrating 71 years in business! What started as our first small location on 27th and Oklahoma, has turned into 4 generations of bringing fashion and comfort to our local community here in Milwaukee. As we celebrate our history and the foundation of our business, we have come a long way. We are still the same local, family-owned business that provides the same values, customer service, and beautiful shoes, but with new ways to shop, new styles to wear, and new technologies to ensure your proper shoe fit!

Stan’s History:
In 1950, Stan and Emerence Sajdak established the roots of Milwaukee’s #1 shoe store when they opened Stan’s Bootery. After college, Jim Sajdak, Stan and Emerence’s son, stepped in to grow Stan’s Bootery into Stans Fit For Your Feet. Jim Sajdak now owns the company with his four adult children: Andy, David, Megan, and Ben to continue the expansion of their family’s legacy. We want you to feel like family when you come and visit us at Stan’s!

When was the last time you had your feet properly measured? Our feet are the foundation of our bodies. As we live life, gain or lose weight, have families, compete in sports or exercise, our feet are always changing, so it’s important to have our feet measured. At Stan’s, our Fit Specialists are experts in measuring your feet and providing the best shoes based on your specific needs. We know everyone has different needs for their feet and preferences on styles of footwear, so we will bring you many options to choose from. Our goal is to make you feel at home and as comfortable as possible to pick out the perfect shoes.
Digital foot scanner
Have you met Albert? He’s our digital foot scanner! Albert gathers info on your pressure points, the shape of your foot, arch type, and also helps you find proper shoes and inserts in less than 30 seconds! We can also 3D print a personalized insert that is perfect for your foot to give you support and cushioning where you need it most.
All of our Stan’s locations in Greenfield, Glendale, and Brookfield Wisconsin utilize the newest Aetrex Albert 3D Foot Scanner to get your best comfort and fit. Our Fit Specialists are trained to walk you through your unique foot scan. This is a huge benefit to provide you with a custom solution to help make your shoes even MORE comfortable.

Since 1950, the company has grown into three Stan’s locations, two New Balance locations, our Vionic store, and Stansfootwear.com! We are located in Brookfield, Greenfield, and Glendale and love being a part of the Milwaukee community! We search for stylish, comfortable, sustainable, and support brands we are proud of. Each store provides its own unique experience to give you as many styles as possible. We have a huge variety of sizes for everyone and even some wide widths available in certain styles.

Community/Give Back
As a family-owned business, we love to give back to our local Milwaukee community and all over the world! We participate in events and partnerships within the Milwaukee area and we are so grateful for everyone who has partnered with or donated to us. Our Share-A-Pair shoe drive is near and dear to our hearts. For our Share-A-Pair shoe drive, we provide new and gently used shoes to local shelters around the Milwaukee area to give back to people in need. Wellness
We work with chiropractors, doctors, podiatrists, physical therapists, and other medical professionals to help their patients have the proper footwear. Our Certified Fit Specialists and Certified Pedorthists are trained to work with prescriptions and recommendations for shoes and orthotics. We love when runners or athletes come to us to get the proper gear for their next big race!
Style & Fashion
Simply coming to get new shoes for an important trip or your next work meeting, we also provide stylish and comfortable shoes for everyday wear.
