Time to start watching re-runs of That 70s Show for inspiration and rummaging through your local thrift store!

The 70s are making a comeback, starting with the Pantone Fashion Color Report Fall 2015. What is really neat this year is that this is a unisex color palette. Men and women will both be wearing earthy tones, such as: desert sage, oak buff, and biscay bay. Of course Pantone’s 2015 Color of the Year, marsala, is included into the color palette and is dominating fall fashion!

Culottes, high-waisted pants, suede, window pane plaid, faux fur, and high neck knits are what you want to update your wardrobe with this season. Here are footwear trends to accent that wardrobe:

  • Color blocking With all of the fun colors from this season’s palette, it’s hard to choose just one. You can have it all by pairing your favorite jeans and sweater with a color block boot.

  • Embellishments You don’t need a ton of bling to steal the spotlight. Metal studs and detailing can take you from the office to happy hour without the hassle of changing outfits.

  • Ankle boots Whether it be a Chelsea boot with a comfortable heel or a lug sole made for walking, ankle boots are all the rage this fall. Suede and textured ankle boots look great with tights and a dress or cuffed jeans.

  • Midi boots These boots are for those of you looking for a happy-medium between a riding boot and an ankle boot. Wear them with a flowy skirt or your culottes for a trendy, yet comfortable look.
